CAREER: 2003:Disabled with torn labrum in left shoulder, April 23...rehab stint at GCL, August 9-22...2002: Twins’ Minor League Player of the Week, going 2-0, 0.00, with 22 k’s and 2 walks in 12 innings, August 10-16...named Appalachian League Pitcher of the Week, August 12-18...allowed 10.46 BR/9 and had 11.16 K/9...was second on club in wins and strikeouts and third in innings...led league in ERA and was second in strikeouts...member of Appalachian League Postseason All-Star team...named co-Pitcher of the Year in Appalachian League...named to Baseball America’s Rookie League All-Star team.
