Class A Fort Myers left-handed pitcher Francisco Liriano was the named the Twins Minor League Player of the Week for the Week of May 23 - 29, 2004. Liriano, 20, was 1-0 and gave up one run over 14 innings -- walking three and striking out 14. Liriano is 3-3 with a 2.98 ERA this seasons in 10 starts. He was part of last winter's trade that sent A.J. Pierzynski to the Giants for closer Joe Nathan.
