Maza, 23, was 11-24 (.458) with 5 runs scored, 3 doubles, 2 triples and 7 rbi in 6 games...for the season, he is batting .341 (46-135) with 23 runs scored, 7 doubles, 2 triples, 2 homers and 18 rbi in 33 games...he has yet to commit an error this season... Maza was signed by the Twins as a non-drafted free agent in 1997 by scout Enrique Brito. Luis Maza was chosen by fans as the Rock Cats Player of the Month for May, 2004.
